Erewash Borough Council is carrying out a Community Governance Review to consider whether changes should be made to local governance arrangements across the borough. The first public consultation will run until Thursday 20 August 2026. Your feedback will help shape draft recommendations for the future of local governance in your area.
This review will consider the options to create parish councils for Long Eaton, Ilkeston and Kirk Hallam. The review will also look at existing parish council arrangements in Dale Abbey, Stanton-by-Dale and Sandiacre.
