New Local Plan
Erewash Borough Council is starting the production of a new local plan.
Under the Government's new arrangements for plan-making, Erewash Borough Council are legally required to produce a new Local Plan. More detail on the plan-making process can be found on the Government's website.
When complete, the new local plan for Erewash will replace all existing local planning policy for the Borough. The new plan will then be the primary consideration in the determination of planning applications.
The Council is currently undertaking a Scoping Consultation which asks for views on what matters the new Local Plan should cover and how the Council should engage with anyone who has an interest in the Plan.
